Materials

All of the materials and finishes used in the creation of our lights at Wil & Co. help to strike the perfect balance between textural and contemporary, hand-made and high end. We use materials such as hand-blown glass, solid brass, natural jute, natural rope, and acrylic in different combinations to create a look that is seamless yet soft.

Each element has been greatly considered to provide the perfect amount of contrast and depth. Solid brass has been patinaed by hand to give it a rich but subtle, time worn look. Natural twine is hand woven around brass collars to create dimension and texture. Hand blown glass casts a warm glow through its acid etched front.

Many of the materials have organic qualities and may therefore result in slight variations from fixture to fixture. We believe this adds to the unique beauty and sophistication of our designs and further enhances their handmade nature and uniqueness.
